Change of the concert venue!

The choir had been very happy about the invitation of the Elisabeth Church to the Passion Concert. After all, conquering a new concert venue is an exciting affair. However, a thorough check of the local conditions revealed that the space conditions for a choir, the quartet of soloists and a larger orchestra were not favourable by any stretch of the imagination. Dear tenors… where are you?

If you ask about famous male voices, names of tenors are usually mentioned. Who does not know Caruso or Pavarotti? Like Plácido Domingo, Fritz Wunderlich and many others – singers not mentioned here – they have achieved world fame because of their ability to sing high notes effortlessly and at the same time powerfully and beautifully. The Stuttgart Oratorio Choir has good tenors, but more of this species would be very important for a vocal balance in our male voice section. Impressive Christmas Concert Before information follows very briefly on rehearsals, let us look back a little on our first Christmas concert after 2019 (!), which was virtually sold out on the 3rd Sunday of Advent 2022 in the Leonhardskirche. The most apt way to describe it is this: Uplifting, moving, simply extraordinary!
